In The Blues

Blue is my all time favorite color and it's a color you can wear all year round. I love shawls and they are just so versatile for any occasion. This particular one is from Forever 21 and I love the pleather detail on the trim. It gives it an edgy vibe yet still allowing you to be girly!

Prepped and Layered

I've been recently getting back into the preppy style and this layering technique is perfect for those modest fashionistas (plus it's also perfect for the cold). Layering a patterned button down with a plain colored sweater is great if you want to go for a look with a statement but not too bold. Adding some jewelry also helps give it a more glamorous look!

Snowed In

The blizzard has officially made its mark in the DC/VA area. Since I will be snowed in for a while, I decided to make the best of it and experiment with new outfits. This North Face jacket is very lightweight but keeps you warm at the same time. Blanket scarves are a must for the snow season and this one does just the trick! These combat boots are also great for any weather because of how durable they are.

Bold in Beige

Kimonos and cardigans are a great trend in Pakistan at the moment. They are usually sold as a set which comes with a shirt as well as the kimono. I bought this particular one from LimeLight and it is so cute and comfy! There are so many intricate designs and details which is what gives these kimonos such a unique look. I decided to pair my Kendra Scott necklace as well as some brown booties to complete the outfit.
