Flowing Blouses

I love blouses for any time of the year. They are so girly and can dress up anything you pair with it. I got this particular one from Buffalo Exchange. What's great about this store is that you can bring in your old clothes and make money off of them or get store credit to purchase new clothes! They have very trendy pieces and many items are still new with tags.

    Stripes With Some Sparkle

Zara is having a huge winter sale at the moment and their items are priced as low as $7! This is the first time I have ever purchased anything from there and I am very impressed with the quality. This shirt was only $7.99 and can be paired so many ways. What I love about it is that if you look closely, the small stripes are made of glitter. It really adds something a bit different to the shirt. Go check Zara out when you can!

        Tied at the Waist

In my posts over the past few months, many outfits consisting of plaid have been featured. I feel that a simple plaid shirt is so versatile and can be dressed up or down, or even used as an accessory like I have used here today. Tying a colorful plaid shirt around the waist while wearing neutral colors to pair with it really gives dimension to the outfit. This outfit is very easy to recreate and I believe that anybody can pull it off. This look is also great when transitioning from the winter to the spring time!

          Happy Valentine's Day!

It is officially Valentine's Day and I wanted you give you all a quick outfit idea. This red coat is actually my mother's that she wore 30 years ago. It is very special to me, and colorful coats are also back in trend. I also decided to pair this bright pink turtle neck sweater because it is still pretty cold where I live. I topped it off with some Kendra Scott jewelry and a red lip. Hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!

            Casually Simplistic

It's getting pretty cold in the DC area so cardigans are a must. Forever 21 is having a huge sale on all their sweaters and most of them are as low as $7! This particular one is oversized and very comfy for a casual day like this one. I love these sneakers for running errands as well because they are so easy to put on and can complete an outfit.

              The Black Sweater

A plain black sweater can be worn so many different ways. You can wear it alone, with some jewelry, or even layer it like I did here. Layering with a patterned button down shirt underneath makes the outfit more interesting and it also adds a pop of color. I also added this tortoise monogram necklace which was only $15 on Etsy! If you are considering purchasing the Tory Burch flats, I highly recommend that you do so because they are super comfortable and they will last a very long time. This cognac color goes with just about anything and it really adds some class to this outfit.

                Draped In Red

I found this really cool and unique sleeveless cardigan on the Red Dress Boutique website! I am pretty short (5"2) and thought this would over power my body but it doesn't. I love the way it drapes and flows with the outfit. I decided to pair a red top to bring out more of the red in the cardigan and topped it off with some gold accessories.

                  Sleek and Casual

Turtleneck shirts and sweaters have been a big hit during the fall and winter time. I love how comfortable they are and they actually keep you warm! I got this particular one from Banana Republic and it is more of a chunky knit material which is perfect to wear on those lazy and cold days. Adding a coat just gives more texture and contrast to the look which I really loved.
