Dark Side

If you've been checking out my blog for a while, you may have noticed that my taste in clothing is usually bright or lighter colors. I tend to gravitate towards pastels or flashy colors rather than just plain black. But today, I wanted to try something new. Zara is still having their major end of season sale with many items being as low as $5! My sweater and pants are both from there and I loved this combo because I felt that it was an unexpected combination of textures. Although the holiday season is over, I still wanted to be able to wear some sparkly pieces because it's one of my favorite textures of this season. Now, the boots are the star of the show. These boots are from Topshop and are currently on sale for about $25! They are the ultimate statement piece and can easily be worn with a plain outfit to add some pizzaz!

    KS Spring Launch

Hello everyone! Long time no post. Lately I haven't been feeling as inspired with my clothes due to the change of seasons. The weather has also been pretty icky around here which hasn't given me a chance to bring out some of my new pieces. However, I'm back with some more outfit ideas for the upcoming couple of weeks! Kendra Scott just came out with her Spring collection today which has gotten me pretty excited for the Spring season. Culottes have been a huge trend for the past year and they are still here in 2017. I was having a hard time finding culottes in this particular color but I found this awesome pair on an app called Depop.

Depop is a resale app where you can buy and sell your clothing at any price you'd like. You even get to choose your own shipping price! It's very easy and anyone can do it. I found these awesome pants on there and you almost always get a discounted price on the items. Most of the items are barely even worn as well which is awesome.

I decided to pair these rust culottes with this white mock neck sweater to make the pants the star of the show. I was having some trouble figuring out what shoes to pair with this outfit, but I decided to go for these cute lace up flats. As for jewelry, I paired these gorgous rose gold earrings from our new Spring collection as well as this rose gold cuff bracelet and ring from Kendra Scott.

    Lacey Details

Lace details are one of my favorite fabrics to play around with. It adds a very feminine touch to every outfit and it can be worn all year round. I feel that lace can work with pretty much anyone's style because there are so many different styles of lace itself. I loved this blouse in particular because of the beautiful sleeves. I have not seen many tops with these kind of sleeves and I love how wing-like they look. Just like my last post, this blouse is from Altar'd state and I got it on a major sale. A top that used to be $70 ended up being $20. I highly suggest that you can go check out this store if you are looking for a girlier style.

These photos were taken by a gorgous blogger named Helena Tewolde. Click here to check out her amazing blog and photos! One tip for all you fellow bloggers is to collaborate with others as much as you can. It helps you get your name out there and make some amazing connections and even close friends because of it. Hope you all like this outfit!

      Happy New Year!

It has finally arrived, the New Year! For most people, a new year means a new start and I believe that as well. Thank you to all of you for supporting me thus far and helping me grow as a blogger. I would not be in the place that I am now without your support and kindness. I hope that not only my blog grows, but that you all grow as well and have many positive impacts in your lives this year. Many people also put out resolutions on how to better themselves this upcoming year. For me, I hope to better my relationships with my friends, better my relationship with God, better my career, and of course better my blog! I would love to hear all of your New Years resolutions as well.

As for my outfit, I had to make sure to dress super shiny and fun to bring in the new year. Many people wear sequins and glitter for the new year and I decided to do my own take on it. As you all know, my blog consists modest outfits for modest fashionistas and I wanted to be able to show you all that you can still wear the sequins and shine without revealing too much. This silver midi skirt from Anthropologie is the perfect fit. It comes in a regular length as well as a petite length. I went with the regular length because it was longer and covered a bit more but if you'd like it to be a bit shorter than you have the option for that as well. Since the skirt was the star of the show, I wanted to keep the top neutral so I went with this plain white mock neck sweater. To add some color, I added these maroon heels, as well as this gorgeous maroon bag from Coach. Again, thank you so much for all of the support from this past year and I hope you all have an amazing new year.
