Happy National Stripes Day!

According to JCrew, it is national stripes day today. So in order to celebrate I have linked some of my favorite striped pieces including this little ensemble I have put together with the classic JCrew boatneck shirt. Stripes are always a classic style to wear all year round but I especially love to wear them in the Spring and Summer months due to the nautical vibe they give. I would love to hear your favorite striped pieces in the comments below!

Pretty in Pink

Hey guys! Just wanted to make a quick post on this adorable outfit. I have been loving pink lately and this top from Banana Republic just takes the cake. Banana Republic is always doing sales so never purchase anything from there for full price. To make the outfit a bit more quirky, I decided to add these silver sneakers from Zara and these fun tassel earrings from Vanessa Mooney. Hope you all love the outfit as much as I do!

Stripes + Bell Sleeves

Happy first week of Spring everyone! I am so glad that the weather is finally starting to warm up which means I can bring out my Spring wardrobe to its full potential now. I have been amazed by how much am I loving all of the new Spring trends and I plan to try them all out this season. To start with, I decided to style this super cute striped bell sleeve blouse from LOFT. I love when one clothing item offers many different trends at the same time. Stripes are a huge trend this time of year and so are bell sleeves, so why not mix them in together to create a gorgeous top? What I love about LOFT and Ann Taylor is that they carry work appropriate items, but with a twist. They always find the most perfect ways to mix in trends with their more classic pieces. Not only do they end up catering to the business woman, but just about anyone else can come in and shop because of all the stylish pieces they have to offer.

As for jeans, it has taken me a long time to find the perfect pair that fits me well in all the right places. But for now, I have found a pretty good pair from Nordstrom. For my shoes, I wanted to wear these cute oxford shoes to make the look a bit more casual. I kept it simply with the jewelry and wore this simple Y necklace and a gold watch. As for my bag, I have been loving this one from Etienne Aigner because of the sophisticated look it has to offer. Happy Spring an Happy Shopping!

The Duster

Spring and the Fall are my two most favorites seasons for fashion. I love the beautiful rust tones for Fall and I love the beautiful pastels for Spring. While I was in Zara one day, I saw the most gorgeous blue duster coat. I tried it on and immediately fell in love but I decided to hold off on buying it. I definitely regretted it because when I went back, it was gone. I started searching high and low for a good dupe and low and behold I found one on Zaful. It looked almost identical and it was about a fraction of the cost as well!

I'm always a bit eary when it comes to purchasing items off Zaful and Shein because you never know if the quality is going to be good or not. Since the coat only ended up being about $25 I decided to take the risk. When I received the coat, I was actually surprised by how nice the quality was. Although it did not compare to the quality of the Zara one, for $25 it was amazing! Duster coats are a great way to transition your wardrobe from the Winter to Spring season and I absolutely love the pretty pastel colors that have come out.

For the rest of the outfit, I decided to wear very neutral colors underneath to keep the focus on the coat. I bought these amazing high waisted pants from Forever 21 for $17 and this cream blouse also from Forever 21 for about $10. As for my shoes, if you guys have been keeping up with my blog for a while, you know that I am obsessed with the block heel trend and I thought these went perfect with the outfit. As for jewelry, I kept it very simple with this dainty Y necklace and my Michael Kors watch.

For my bag, I discovered this amazing designer in New York called Etienne Aigner. I loved this bag in particular because it is so structured and I've never really had a bag like this in my collection. It also gave off some Gucci vibes with the front buckle which I really love about it. Definitely check out their website to see what other amazing options they have!

The Joy Dress

As you all know, I try to show modest fashion ideas for you women out there who love to try out new trends while still dressing modestly. A brand called RAJU Official offers just that. RAJU Official is a modest clothing brand which was started by Rachelle and Judith. Rachelle is actually an amazing modest fashion blogger who loves incorporating trends into her wardrobe and she does it with class and style. RAJU is definitely a brand that I like to save up for and splurge on every once in a while because they offer such classic pieces that can be worn all year round. This time around, I decided to purchase this beautiful maxi dress called the Joy Dress. Similar to Kendra Scott, where Kendra likes to name each jewelry piece, RAJU names all their clothes which I think is such a fun and cute idea!

This dress is amazing quality and is also lightweight for those warmer Spring and Summer days. What I love most about this dress is the gold button details on the sleeves. This gives the dress an amazing designer vibe and puts the look together. As for accessories, I wanted to wear these amazing Vanessa Mooney earrings. They are so fun to wear especially in the Spring and Summer seasons and are the perfect statement piece with any outfit. I also decided to wear this gold watch to match the buttons on the sleeves and paired this cute white cross-body to match the earrings. As for shoes, I found the BEST dupe for the Chloe and Marc Fisher wedges from Steve Madden in DSW! With a $10 off coupon, I got these wedges for $50! They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. I recommend these wedges to anyone who has been looking for a good dupe as they are affordable and have almost no difference from the designer wedges.

A Classic Edge

I recently found the most beautiful jacket on sale at LOFT. I saw a very similar one at a thrift store and I kept regretting not buying it. But I am so glad that I ended up finding this one on sale for $25! Since it is a classier jacket, I wanted to add some edge to it with these studded boots which are an amazing dupe of the Chloe boots. Since it's still pretty cold some days here in the D.C. area, this jacket is the perfect layering piece for any outfit.
