Spring Sweater Dresses

Okay, this is going to be my first blog post in almost two months so bear with me! I have been SO uninspired this Winter season (it's my least favorite for fashion) and I didn't want to post anything I wasn't genuinely happy with. But, Spring and Summer are my seasons to dress colorfully again and I am so excited to bring some new content! This season has brought forth some super fun and unique trends that I am so excited to try out. From bright pastels, to big polka dots, I am all for it this season and I hope to find some fun items for you all to try out this year as well.

I'm going to kick it off with a Spring trend this year which is the perfect transition item, the midi/maxi sweater dress! Unlike sweater dresses in the winter, these over the knee length sweater dresses are much more lightweight and breathable which makes it the perfect Winter to Spring transition item. They come in a ton of different colors and are being sold just about everywhere at the moment. Mine in particular is from a store called Lou & Grey. This store has been one of my favorites to shop for this Spring season because of the effortlessly trendy and chic styles they have to offer! I love this sweater dress in particular because of the stripes which really help elongate the body.

With this dress, I wanted to add some layers to give it some more color which is why I opted for these light washed frayed hem jeans. This is also perfect when it starts to cool down at night because your legs will be covered and warm. For accessories, I wanted to opt for some light pieces to go with the Spring look. I decided to add my little white round cross-body bag but to add some color, I added this lemon printed scarf which I thought gave a fun pop of color to the look. As for accessories, I just decided to wear these fun marbled resin hoop earrings, as well as my watch and rings. Hope you guys decide to try out this trend yourself!
