Sitting in Sunflowers

My friend Imaan and I have been trying to go to a sunflower farm for YEARS now. The last two times we went, we drove over an hour away and both times, the sunflowers were gone. You'd think we would have learned our lesson from the first time around lol. This year, we finally got to go and although there were only a few flowers left, it was still worth it to see all the beautiful blooms!

Since Summer is almost coming to a close, I'm trying to get good use out of the rest of my Summer looks. I really loved this floral maxi dress as an end of season outfit because of the muted floral tones. This dress can also be worn for so many occasions such as for a wedding, a bridal shower, or even for a fancy brunch. Although I'm sad that Summer is almost over, I am so excited to share some fun Fall content with you guys!

Bohemian Dream

Saying hello to you all from my bedroom while quarantined lol. I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this time!  I know it may seem pointless to dress up during this time, but when I dress up, it makes me feel just a little bit better with everything that has been going on in my world.

If you've been following my blog for the past few years, you'll know how much I love the bohemian style but I hadn't styled a boho look in the longest time. When I saw this dress from the Red Dress Boutique, I knew exactly how I wanted to style it and I'm so happy with how it turned out! After quarantine, I'm hoping to actually wear this look out to a picnic or lunch with friends. Hope you enjoy the look!

Target Haul

I hope everyone is doing okay! I know this time has been pretty weird for all of us in the world. I like my page to be positive but I do think it's important to address the issues going on in the world as well. I have been doing my best to commit to social distancing and I hope you are as well.

Fashion is my outlet from everything that goes on in my life so I wanted to go ahead and film a little Target haul on my Instagram stories! I paired a ton of outfits with the pieces I purchased and you can click Here to check it out. I also wanted to make sure to link all the items here.

Hair Scarves for Spring

I have always loved playing around with different hair styles, especially during the warmer seasons. This past year, hair scarves and scrunchies have been all the rage and they are not going anywhere. I love how these scarves can really bring definition to a simple outfit!

Spring Workwear

Clearly, Spring is one of my favorite seasons to dress for. Since I have started working my new job, I have a lot more freedom in what I can wear to work. I'm able to show off my style and look professional at the same time! With my outfit here, a perfect workwear staple not just for Spring but for all year round are some nice wide leg pants. These pants are able to be dressed up and down depending on the look you're going for. You can wear them with a simple tee shirt, a sweater, or a nice blouse like I'm wearing here.

Another nice way to spruce up your workwear for Spring is by wearing some light colored blouses, or blouses/tops with floral details. This really helps lighten up your look and allows for you to be comfortable while looking stylish. Shoes are also the perfect way to add a statement to any workwear look. A blush pink pair would not only go with plenty of neutral items in your wardrobe, they will give your outfit a more dressy vibe!

Fave Spring Florals

It might be 40 degrees outside today but boy am I ready for Spring fashion. I know, florals are probably the most "basic" thing to wear in the Spring but what can I say? I love them! I've picked out a few of my favorite floal pieces for you to get some inspiration for yourself, as well as a casual Spring outfit idea to bring some of those florals into your own wardrobe.

Jeans: American Eagle

I love this outfit because it is a casual way to wear floral items which can often be seen as a much more dressy pattern. This blue, green and cream color palette is also going to be a huge trend for Spring 2020!

Here are a few other floral items I have been eyeing for the Spring
