Eyes on Eyelet

Spring time calls for everything eyelet! Including eyelet tops, dresses, skirts and shorts. I love this pattern of fabric because it creates such a feminine look to every outfit, and that is usually the look I am going for during the Spring season. Since the weather is finally beginning to officially warm up here, my best friend and I decided to take a walk around the local harbor we live by. I knew I wanted to wear something cute, yet comfortable and this was the perfect outfit for that.

I purchased my eyelet top from an online store called ShopBop. Now ShopBop sells a ton of super expensive clothing that I really can't afford. But their sale section always has some great stuff to look around for. I ended up getting this top on sale for $26, and they have free shipping as well! It's currently still on sale for $33 which I still think is a great deal.

Mom jeans are super comfortable and easy to wear all year round. I knew I wanted to wear a pair with this look because I loved the light wash of the denim with the top. These particular mom jeans are from Forever 21 and they were $30! I found that these are actually the perfect dupes for the Summer Jeans sold at Madewell which are about $120, so definitely go check out your local Forever 21 for a more affordable pair.

I was finally able to bring out my favorite straw bag again. You all know my obsession with straw bags so you'll be seeing a lot more of them throughout the next season. I love pairing a cute scarf to go with the bag because I think it adds a fun quirky touch. I of course had to pair my trusty block heeled pumps with this look to dress it up a bit. I'm so excited to show you all some more of the Spring looks I have come up with soon!
