A Festival of Blossoms

The annual Cherry Blossom Festival here in Washington D.C. is one of my favorite events in the area. People come from all over the country and the world to see these beautiful blossoms by the Tidal Basin. Of course, I also took this as an opportunity to get some fun photos!

I love this time of year because I can finally bring out my midi and maxi dresses again. I love wearing dresses because they are so easy and comfortable. For this look, I wanted my dress to contrast with the pink flowers which is why I went with this navy blue. This midi dress is from Loft and I thought it was perfect for both work, and to wear for a nice day outside. Since I work in a more professional workwear setting. I would opt to wear this dress with either a cardigan and flats or a blazer and some block heels.

I have been loving these wedges from Soludos. They are one of the most comfortable pair of wedges that I own! If you have wider feet, it will take about 2-3 wears for you to break them in but after that they are good to go. Since the top of the dress is more plain, I wanted to add some fun with these tassel earrings which are again a staple accessory in my wardrobe this Spring and Summer season. You guys already know how often I wear this basket bag during this time of the year so I course I had to add it to this look as well. I am so excited to bring more fun Spring and Summer dress looks for you all. I hope you all like this look!
